The nurses caring for your relative will be protected from being exposed to the virus by wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
This is very important to keep them safe and well. It does however make personal interaction difficult and it will be more difficult for the patient to hear and even understand what is happening to them. It may even be a little frightening for them at this difficult time. We understand this and make every effort to lessen the impact of this.
